Arsari Tambang Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Aryo Djojohadikusumo said that the company’s net sales in 2021 increased in line with the rise in global tin commodity prices.
“Net sales increased by 74 percent compared to the previous year, driven by the increase in global tin commodity prices,” Aryo said in a press release on Monday (5/9).
According to him, sales of the company’s tin metal production were conducted through the Jakarta Futures Exchange, with export destinations dominated by Europe, the United States, and Asian countries.
Aryo added that mining activities were carried out at the Mapur Block in Cit Village, Bangka Regency, as well as the Kepuh Block and Penyak Block in Central Bangka Regency.
“MSP’s exploration activities in 2021 covered an area of 234 hectares, with drilling totaling 27,774 meters across 979 drill points,” Aryo explained.
Arsari Tambang has several mining subsidiaries, including PT Mitra Stania Prima, PT Mitra Stania Kemingking, and PT Mitra Stania Bemban, which operate in the tin sector and are located in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province.
